I produce wheel thrown porcelain tea and table ware designed to "invite use". My work is full of visual delight, and should give pleasure to the user.
My inspiration comes from oriental ceramics, particularly the philosophies and aesthetics of the Tea Ceremony and Oribe ware. I also take much inspiration from traditional European porcelain, with its highly decorative and ornate surface.
