Allison Neal's intriguing and quirky figurative prints are based on ancient Greek myths and stories, but have an arresting, contemporary immediacy to them. They are beautifully counterpointed by Nick Samsworth's new series of layered, elemental abstracts in oil and gesso, which reflect his concerns for the land, nature and the elements. Gloucestershire potter Alistair Young's salt-glazed ceramics are an interesting mix of the modern and historical, beautifully thrown and decorated with flair. The forms are often altered by pressing and denting while the clay is still soft, or applied with beads of porcelain. By contrast, Pierre Williams' thrown stoneware vessels are dramatic and dynamic, often on an impressive scale.
