The Galanthus celebrates h.Art by showing three of Herefordshire's finest artists. Charles MacCarthy's still lives, interiors and landscapes are an attempt to find simplicity, stillness and silence in everyday objects. Celia Johnson's large abstracts are inspired by the Golden Valley landscape in which she lives. They are amply complemented by Jack Doherty's distinctive thrown and slab-built, soda-vapour glazed porcelain.
